THE ALASKA PERMANENT FUND CORPORATION (APFC) IS REQUESTING INFORMATION FOR A MEDIA COLLECTION PROJECT
Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation’s Request for Information (RFI) for the 50th Anniversary Permanent Fund Media Collection remains open for submissions.
Submissions remain open: To encourage broad participation and allow time for thoughtful responses, APFC continues to accept submissions to its RFI.
Review process: APFC has begun reviewing responses in the order received and appreciates the materials, perspectives, and creative concepts submitted from across Alaska.
Potential paid opportunities: Qualified respondents may be invited to discuss paid opportunities based on project needs, relevant experience, and available funding.
RFI closure: The RFI may be closed once the project's needs have been met.
Who Is Encouraged to Participate
APFC welcomes responses from Alaskans and organizations with materials, stories, expertise, or creative ideas related to the history and impact of the Alaska Permanent Fund and APFC.
- Community members and organizations
- Researchers, historians, and subject matter experts
- Photographers, videographers, storytellers, and other creative professionals
- Individuals or groups with relevant stories, photographs, videos, archival materials, or other resources
What APFC Is Seeking:
- Historical and archival materials: stories, photographs, videos, research, documents, and other resources related to the Fund’s history and its connection to Alaska’s people, places, and communities.
- New creative project concepts: proposals for photography, videography, documentary storytelling, historical research, archival work, multimedia content, and related projects from qualified contributors across Alaska.
- Responses should: describe the proposed work, deliverables, schedule, rights or permissions, and preliminary cost.
Compensation
APFC recognizes that collecting, organizing, and preparing materials can require significant time and effort. APFC may enter into paid agreements for selected projects, services, or materials. Compensation will depend on scope, deliverables, schedule, usage rights, and available funding. Submission does not guarantee selection, compensation, or a contract.
