Bailey’s Rent-All, Inc.

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Bailey’s Rent-All, Inc.

PROJECT NAME: LAS 36105

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: General North Slope Off-Road

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: State land within the Umiat Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: A permit for off-road travel on state land in the Umiat Meridian. The applicant is a dealer of Swamp Rider vehicles. Travel will be conducted to test the vehicles for summer approval. If summer approval is achieved, travel will be conducted to provide test drives for potential customers.  

Individual travel activities and routes will be required to be authorized individually under this permit. 

REQUESTED TERM: Five-years

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: July 21, 2026

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK  99709 on or before the date noted above. Comments or questions about this activity should be directed to Becky Baird at becky.baird@alaska.gov

After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
