Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc.
PROJECT NAME: ADL 414981
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The proposed easement amendment is north of Old Murphy Dome Road, about one-half mile east of Hattie Creek Road.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Within the SE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 19 of Township 2 North, Range 1 West, Fairbanks Meridian, approximately as shown on the attached map within “Lot 1902.”
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) has applied to amend ADL 414981 to include an approximately 200 feet long by 100 feet wide section of public utility easement for the Fort Knox Transmission/Distribution line not originally included in the existing 10.75-mile-long easement. The purpose of the easement is for electric transmission and distribution. This proposed amendment only pertains to the addition of a segment inadvertently omitted from the original easement. No changes to the terms and conditions of the easement are proposed.
REQUESTED TERM: Indefinitely, or until no longer needed.
