On June 26, 2026, the Department of Fish and Game adopted regulations in Title 5 and Chapter 95 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern waters important for spawning, rearing, or migration of anadromous fishes.
The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on June 26, 2026, and are effective on July 26, 2026. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.
The regulation changes will first appear in Register 259, October 2026, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
