Notice of Disposition of a Derelict Vessel

Please be advised that the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Abandoned and Derelict Vessel (ADV) Program plans to dispose of the derelict vessel listed below.

Vessel Description: Submerged 23’-28’ fiberglass pleasure craft  

Vessel Name: Unknown

Vessel Number: Unknown

Known Ownership: Unknown

Vessel Location: Ketchikan – Bar Harbor South Breakwater 

Means of Disposition: The vessel will be properly disposed of by a salvage contractor.

An owner or a person having a financial or security interest in the vessel may take possession of it before the date of the destruction of the vessel upon payment to the state for any expenses incurred in connection with the vessel.
