The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-71262, Lot 2, Block 4, consisting of approximately 10,518 square feet, at Unalakleet Airport. Applicant: Bering Air, Inc. Annual rent: $2,282.41 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: aeronautical - All Part 135 Air taxi operations including transportation of passengers, scheduled air service, charter flights, fixed wing operations, rotor wing operations, transportation of mail and cargo, storage of mail and cargo, parking of company aircraft on ramp and or in hangar, aviation related maintenance, storage of ramp and cargo related equipment that supports air taxi operations.

Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., July 6, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
