Subject to AS 38.05.020, the Northern Regional Office has issued a decision for a Land Use Permit for the following:

Sections 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, and 24 of Township 7 South, Range 33 West, Kateel River Meridian
Section 1, Township 7 South, Range 34 West, Kateel River Meridian
Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25, 26, 35, and 36 of Township 6 South, Range 34 West, Kateel River Meridian
Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 35, and 36 of Township 5 South, Range 34 West, Kateel River Meridian

Additional Site Location: Section 27 of Township 7 South, Range 32 West, Kateel River Meridian

AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: On May 29, 2026 the Division of Mining, Land, and Water issued a decision regarding a land use permit reissuance to Graphite One (Alaska) Inc. The permit authorizes the cross country travel of a drill rig weighing up to 6,600 lbs and drilling up to 100 ft.
