NOTICE OF EMERGENCY PUBLIC MEETING OF THE
COMMERCIAL FISHERIES ENTRY COMMISSION
The Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission (Commission) is holding an emergency public meeting in Juneau on June 4, 2026, from 2:00 – 2:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public and available by Microsoft Teams telephone conference.

The Commission will conduct a public meeting under the Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310) on June 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm. At the meeting, the Commission will consider the adoption of emergency regulations under AS 44.62.250, specifically, the proposed amendment to Commission regulation 20 AAC 05.220(a) would allow the use of a beach sine under a set gillnet permit in the Cook Inlet salmon set gillnet fishery.
The Commission may also review future meeting schedules, review permit fees, upcoming outreach activities, proposed regulations, personnel, policy and budget matters, fishery-related issues, and legislative issues at this meeting. The Commission will not be accepting any public comments or testimony at this meeting. The public is invited to attend this meeting via the Microsoft Teams call information above, or in person in the Commission’s Conference Room, 8800 Glacier Hwy, Suite 109, Juneau. A tentative agenda will be posted on the Commission website at https://www.cfec.state.ak.us/mnu_Notices_Releases.htm and as an attachment to this notice on the Alaska Online Public Notice system at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/Default.aspx. The agenda will also be available by request.
