Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Joseph Zuray doing business as (dba) Yukon River Adventures

PROJECT NAME: LAS 35850

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: 
Camp location is approximately 35 miles upstream on the Yukon River from Tanana. See attached map. 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: 
Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 17 West, Fairbanks Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: 
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Northern Region Land Office (NRO), has received a land use permit (LUP) from Joseph Zuray. The LUP would be in support of an eco-tourism camp along the banks of the Yukon River. The camp would provide overnight accommodation for the clients who would explore the area along the Yukon River. 

PROPOSED DATES OF USE: 
5-year term: 2026-2031

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: Public comments are due by May 27, 2026.

The public is invited to comment on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK  99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
