The Delta Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet and hold elections on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Delta Career Advancement Center located at 1696 N Clearwater Ave, Delta Junction, AK and by and by web/teleconference. This meeting is open to the public.
Agenda items will include the following:

Elections for 4 seats set to expire on 6/30/2026
(seats currently held by Jacob White, Paul Dudgeon, Alan Waldo, and Robert Matthews)

Discuss Board of Game Special Meeting to be held in Fairbanks in July 2026 (announcement pending)

Other fisheries, wildlife, and committee business as needed
Any individual who is representative of the fish and game user groups in the area served by the committee is eligible to run for a seat or be nominated. Individuals may nominate themselves. An individual need not be present at the election meeting to be nominated or to be elected, however, all re-elected and newly elected members must submit a New Member Form to Boards Support Section staff within 30 days of the election.
Voting will be held in person. To be eligible to make nominations or vote in an election of a Fish & Game Advisory Committee, you must be a voting-age resident of the area served by the committee as defined in 5 AAC 96.910(10) and attending the election meeting. The areas served by the Delta Fish and Game Advisory Committee as defined in 5 AAC 97.005 are Game Management Units 12, 20, and the Tanana River. Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, and 4) cooperating and consulting with interested persons and organizations, including government agencies, and encourage youth and elder involvement in committee activities.
