Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has received an application for the following development:
APPLICANT: Theodore Carney
PROJECT NAME: ADL 234837
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Hatcher Pass, Alaska
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Sections 34 and 35 of Township 19 North, Range 1 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested the creation of a private non-exclusive easement for the purpose of accessing and maintaining a residential waterline supplying water to applicant’s parcel. The proposed development measures approximately 1,500 feet in length and 20 feet in width, totaling approximately 0.69 acres of State-owned, DMLW-managed uplands.
The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.
REQUESTED TERM: 25 years

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made. To ensure consideration, comments must be submitted in writing and received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK, 99501 on or before the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
