The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Solid Waste Disposal Permit No. SW3A061-31, for the City of Nunapitchuk, to include a 4.5-acre landfill area.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The 4.5-acre landfill will be used for the disposal of municipal solid waste, cooled ash, construction and demolition materials, inert waste, and staging for vehicles and white goods. The tundra pond adjacent to site is no longer used for disposal. This historic landfill site serves the 590 residents of Nunapitchuk
