GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: 100 miles northeast of Tok at approximately Latitude 64.1894 N by Longitude 141.3618 W; north of MP 100 Taylor Hwy

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE¼, Section 27, Township 8 South, Range 32, Fairbanks Meridian

QUANTITY REQUESTED: 100,000 cubic yards

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Extraction, processing, and stockpiling of materials

REQUESTED TERM: Five (5) years

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: 24 April 2026

DMLW is seeking information related to the extraction of material from this site that may assist in the development of specific operating/reclamation requirements for the site, or identifying any multiple land use issues that may need to be addressed prior to issuance of this or future contracts.

To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK  99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
