Prince William Sound/ Copper River Regional Planning Team 2026 Meeting
May 6th, 2026, 10:00 am
Meeting Place: Cordova Center
Zoom Meeting
The Prince William Sound/Copper River Regional Planning Team (RPT) will hold its annual spring meeting on the date and time outlined above. The RPT serves as an important advisory body to the commissioner of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), contributing to the state’s salmon fishery enhancement program. Each RPT is composed of six members—three ADF&G staff appointed by the commissioner and three fishery representatives appointed by the regional aquaculture association—ensuring a balance of scientific and industry expertise. The meeting is open to the public, and participation is strongly encouraged. Agenda items for this year’s spring meeting include review of the hatchery annual management plans, consideration of two permit alteration requests, discussion of a memo regarding the pink and chum salmon moratorium, and an update on the Prince William Sound Comprehensive Salmon Plan (PWS CSP).
