NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EV 3-417

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources, under the authority of AS 29.40.130 & AS 40.15.305, shall hold a public hearing. The hearing concerns a petition submitted by Randy Talvi, ViTal Investments, LLC, to eliminate the following boundaries: between Lot 1, Port Ashton Cabin Lots, Plat No. 2007-4, Valdez Recording District (VRD) and Lot 2A, Port Ashton Recreational Lots, Plat No. 2019-7, VRD; and between Lots 2A & 2B, Port Ashton Recreational Lots, Plat No. 2019-7, VRD; and replat said lots to facilitate the proposed Port Ashton Legacy Lots subdivision. This replat is located within Section 27, Township 1 South, Range 8 East, Seward Meridian, Alaska.

The public hearing will be held via teleconference at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.  Persons wishing to attend the public hearing must call 1-800-315-6338; at the prompts enter access code 98627 and #.

Persons wanting to provide comment on the proposed action may submit their comments in writing by e-mail, or verbally via the scheduled public hearing. In order to be eligible to appeal under AS 38.05.035(i)(j), meaningful participation by one of these methods is required.
