The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to increase the area of Lease ADA-09237, Lot 1A, Block 1200, by approximately 10,287 additional square feet, for an approximate total leased area of 37,162 square feet at Kodiak Airport. The amended lease boundary would provide for building expansion. Applicant: Alaska Airlines, Inc. Annual rent: $8,064.16 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Maintenance and operation of a passenger/air cargo terminal; aircraft service and maintenance; aircraft parking; aircraft fueling; all in connection with jet service (scheduled passenger, air cargo service and non-scheduled commuter operations) and the operation of light aircraft by scheduled air carriers under an inter-line arrangement with the Lessee.

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., May 1, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
