REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Sheep Mountain Air is requesting commercial recreation camp located on a south-facing ridge in the Chugach Mountains. The camp will consist of a small wood-fired sauna structure set on skids or similar above-ground supports, a tent platform and/or mountaineer-style sheltering structure for client use, a self-contained cartridge privy - portable latrine, a secured storage container for fire suppression equipment, safety gear, and operational supplies

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
