On November 5, 2025, the Regulatory Commission of Alaska adopted regulations in Title 3, Chapter 50 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations implemented Senate Bill 152 passed by the 33rd Alaska Legislature and concern community energy programs.
The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on March 23, 2026, and are effective on April 22, 2026. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.
The regulation changes will first appear in Register 258, July 2026, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
