The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-08197, Lot 7, Block 800, consisting of approximately 105,000 square feet, at Homer Airport. Applicant: Bald Mountain Air Service, Inc. Annual rent: $22,785.00 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Construction/Operation & Maintenance of a hangar to be used in support of a commercial aviation business including: Air Taxi & Air Carrier operations, loading & unloading of cargo, passengers, aircraft parking & tiedowns, customer & employee vehicle parking, parking of a 2200 gallon fuel truck all in support of Lessee’s FAR Part 135 Air Taxi Operations & the authority to allow aviation fuel sales to be performed on the premises by others, subject to Article XVI R herein; short-term crew quarters for temporary use including overnight stays.

Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., April 15, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to amend the lease.
