Public Utility Easement

Department of Natural Resources

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has authorized issuance of an easement for the following:

APPLICANT: Quintillion Networks, LLC

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:

The applicant has requested that DMLW authorize an easement that will be located on the North Slope, south and east of Nuiqsut, between the west bank of the Colville River, near Ocean Point, and Santos’ Nanushuk Operations Pad.

AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: The department has authorized issuance of a public utility easement for fiber optic cable installation, operation, and maintenance on state-owned, DMLW-managed lands. The applicant has requested a public utility easement approximately 45 miles long and 30 feet wide for a term of 30 years.
