REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 696

Lease of Office Space at the Anchorage Legislative Office Building

The Legislative Affairs Agency (Agency) is soliciting information from companies or firms that are interested in leasing commercial office space at the Anchorage Legislative Office Building (ALOB). The ALOB is located on the southeast corner of West Benson and Minnesota Boulevards at 1500 West Benson Blvd. in Anchorage, Alaska. The office space is currently occupied and configured as a bank branch with offices, lobby tellers, a kitchen, private restrooms, a large vault, and drive-thru teller stations.

Property Information
•Approximately 5,889 rentable square footage (RSF) of Class A office and bank space
•Six drive-thru lanes
•Large vault
•Utilities (electric, water, sewer, and heat) included in lease agreement
•High traffic area in mid-town near restaurants and shopping centers
•Designated parking adjacent to the premises available or shared parking lot at premises

Photos of the Space
Interested companies or firms may contract Agency's Procurement Officer to request additional photos or a floor plan of the space, or to schedule a site visit.

  



 



Response Requirements
Respondents must include the following information in their response to this RFI:
•  Name of Principle or Owner, as well as agent if applicable, and contact information
•  Name of business and business license number
•  Number of years in operation
•  Planned use of the leased space
•  Parking needs
•  Special request to be included in lease
•  Maximum price per RSF that respondent is willing to pay

Occupancy Date
Late fall of 2026, the exact date to be determined, for a minimum of ten (10) years with optional renewal periods.

Price Information
Respondents must provide the maximum price per RSF that the respondent would be willing to pay for 
the lease space.

The respondent acknowledges that information provided to the Agency in response to this RFI is a public record subject to public inspection in accordance with the Alaska Public Records Law, AS 40.25.123(b).

Submission
Provide one hard copy of the requested information to the mailing address below or one electronic copy of the requested information to the email address listed below. Submissions shall not exceed five pages of narrative. Emailed responses have a 50MB threshold limit; response may be split into multiple emails to stay below 50MB limit. 

Responses to this RFI must be received no later than 2:00 pm Alaska Time, on March 30, 2026.

This RFI in no manner obligates the Agency to lease space or pursue a contractual relationship with an entity that responds to this RFI or limits or restricts the Agency’s right to lease space or pursue a contractual relationship with an entity that does not respond to this RFI.

This RFI in no manner obligates the Agency to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of any response to this RFI. A party responding to this RFI is responsible for all costs associated with their response. Responses become the property of the Agency.
