50962 Proposal To Amend A State Airport Land Lease

PROPOSAL TO AMEND A STATE AIRPORT LAND LEASE:  The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to change the authorized uses of Lease ADA-50962, lease Lot 2, Block 900, consisting of approximately 36,000 square feet, at Sitka Airport, to expire August 1, 2078.  Applicant:  Sitka Jet Center Inc.  Annual rent:  $7,092.00. Authorized uses:  Aeronautical - Operation and maintenance of T-hangars or similar multiple single-aircraft hangars for use for aircraft storage, aircraft maintenance, air-taxi operations, freight & cargo operations and other such aeronautical uses; aeronautical offices, storage of aeronautical equipment, passenger facilities and vehicle parking in support of these aeronautical uses authorized.  Long term parking for airport users, subject to Special Provision E [restricting competition with the primary airport parking lot]. No commercial selling of fuel or placement of fuel tanks for the purpose of commercial selling of fuel is authorized, although self-fueling and parking of fueling vehicles and equipment while not in use is acceptable subject to Article XVI (Fueling Operations and Fuel Storage) of this Lease.
