Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:

Gravel bar north of Resurrection River, approximately 2 miles west of the Seward Highway

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

SE1/4NW1/4 Section 20, Township 1 North, Range 1 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: A 5-year Land Use Permit for the seasonal (May-October) placement of two mobile sauna units near the Resurrection River.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: May 1, 2026
End: October 31, 2031
(Seasonal May-October)

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 10, 2026

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
