Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has authorized issuance of a public utility easement for the following:

APPLICANT: NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:

Easement: located within the Northwest Arctic Borough, connecting the NANA Regional Corporation communities of Kotzebue, Kivalina, Noatak, Buckland, Deering, Selawik, Kiana, Noorvik, Shungnak, Kobuk, and Ambler.

AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: The department has authorized issuance of a public utility easement 30-foot wide by approximately 285,120 foot-long (54 miles) for the construction of a fiber optic cable network on state land.
