NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25262006 – AMATS: Spenard Road Rehabilitation – Northwood Drive to Minnesota Drive Design Services – PLUS

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the design and advertising of the above named project, and one (1) additional project.  The first project, AMATS: Spenard Road Rehabilitation – Northwood Drive to Minnesota Drive Design Services, will improve drainage, enhance intersections, make ADA improvements as well as utilities and roadside hardware within the area The Contractor will be the lead designer for this project.  Anticipated Services are described in the Statement of Services.  The other named project is for design support services for the Dale Street and Folker Street Rehabilitation project which will provide upgrades to current local standards including lighting upgrades, non-motorized facilities and drainage upgrades.  See Special Notices, item 15.12 for additional information.  The Contracting Agency may add one (1) additional, similar AMATS project during the initial period of performance.  See Special Notices, Item 15.11 for additional information.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2026 to November 2029.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available February 18, 2026 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than March 11, 2026, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
