NOTICE OF ADOPTED AND FILED REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
On February 10, 2026, the Department of Natural Resources adopted regulations in 11 AAC 71 and 11 AAC 98. The regulations concern pricing for transfers of materials to other state agencies and the definition of “public purpose.”
The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on February 12, 2026, and are effective on March 14, 2026. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.
The regulation changes will first appear in Register 257, April 2026, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
