Council Meeting Public Testimony | Feb 10, 2026, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Topic of Interest: 

The Council is interested in hearing testimony about any issues impacting Alaskan families and individuals with disabilities. We want to hear about the successes in your community and any challenges or unmet needs you’ve observed. Your input will directly influence our planning.
Discussions will explore key areas such as education, healthcare, employment, housing, transportation, recreation, and access to services.

Testimony will be limited to 3 minutes per testimonial.

Guidelines

• Individuals are limited to speaking for 3 minutes, and Council members may ask clarifying questions afterwards.
• A speaker may be granted the latitude to speak longer than the 3-minute time limit only by the Council Chair or by a motion adopted by the Council.
• Speakers are not permitted to criticize or attack others.
• Anyone providing comment should do so in a manner that is respectful of the Council and all meeting attendees. The Council Chair maintains the right to stop public comments that contain inappropriate or inflammatory language or behavior.

Public testimony will be offered in person at the Alaska Office Building (AOB) 350 Main Street Room 115, Juneau, Alaska, 99801 and in Zoom format. There is an option to join the Zoom meeting by phone.
