On October 9, 2025, the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education adopted regulations in Title 20, Chapters 15, 16, and 17 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern amendments and the repeal of regulations relating to the terms and conditions of the Alaska Supplemental Education Loan Program, the Alaska Family Education Loan Program, the Alaska Education Grant Program, the Alaska Performance Scholarship Program, and postsecondary educational institutions.

The regulations were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on January 14, 2026, and are effective on February 13, 2026. Attached is a copy of the filed regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 257, April 2026, of the Alaska Administrative Code.
