Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Hilcorp Alaska Gas Storage, LLC (Hilcorp Storage) filed TA2-787, requesting approval of its Firm Storage Service (FSS) Agreement with Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. The FSS Agreement is a special contract under AS 42.05.361(a) and 3 AAC 48.390, and the Commission directed Hilcorp Storage to file signed FSS agreements as tariff advice filings in Order U-25-007(2). The FSS Agreement has an initial term of five years, beginning April 1, 2026, and allows for five twelve-month extensions. Hilcorp Storage requested an effective date of March 2, 2026.
The FSS Agreement provides for a total contract quantity and maximum storage quantity of 3 billion cubic feet, a contract injection quantity of 8.45 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd), and a contract withdrawal quantity of 10.26 MMscfd. The rates, charges, and fees are assessed in accordance with Hilcorp Storage’s tariff.
