NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25262030 – FY26 MEHS Dorms Roof Systems Replacement 

The Contractor shall provide professional services for design, development, and replacement of roof systems, gutters and down spouts for three dormitory facilities at the Mt. Edgecumbe High School complex; buildings 292, 293 and 297 located at 1332 Seward Ave, Sitka, AK. Included in this work are evaluation of the existing system, providing recommendations to address deficiencies, hazardous material investigation, design services, and bidding and construction support.     .

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately March 2026 to Decemeber 2027.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $200,000 to $250,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 16, 2026 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than February 6, 2026, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
