Notice of Utility Application for New Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (“Commission”) gives notice that on January 5, 2026, Frontier Waste Management, Inc. (Frontier) filed an application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to provide refuse service in and around the Matanuska Susitna Valley, including Palmer and Wasilla, Alaska. Frontier also seeks approval of its tariff which was filed as part of its application. Docket U-26-001 was opened to address this matter.
In conjunction with the application, Frontier has filed a petition for confidential treatment of financial statements including balance and income statements, and detailed information of assets and liabilities of Shawn Fuller that are filed as Exhibit A to the petition for confidential treatment which was filed with the application. Interested persons may file a response to the petition with the Commission by 5:00 p.m. February 2, 2026.
The Commission has not yet assessed the completeness of the application or ruled on the petition for confidential treatment. The Commission will rule on the petition for confidential treatment and determine whether the application is complete after the close of the comment period.
