Upper Tanana Fortymile Fish & Game Advisory Committee Meeting and Elections Tuesday January 13th, 2026 at 7:00 pm

The Upper Tanana Fortymile Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet and hold elections on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Tok ADF&G Conference Room and by web/teleconference. This election meeting is open to the public.

Voting will be held in person. If you wish to participate in this election remotely/cannot attend the meeting in person, please contact the regional coordinator a minimum of 24 hours prior to the election meeting.

To be eligible to make nominations or vote in an election of a Fish & Game Advisory Committee, you must be a voting-age resident of the area served by the committee as defined in 5 AAC 96.910(10) and attending the election meeting. The areas served by the Upper Tanana Fortymile Fish and Game Advisory Committee as defined in 5 AAC 97.005 are Game Management Units 12 and 20 and the Tanana River. Agenda items will include the following:

  • Elections for the following expired seats to serve up to a three-year term:
    [1] Undesignated seat
    [2] Tok designated seats
    [1] Dot Lake designated seat*
    [1] Northway designated seat*
    [1] Tetlin designated seat*
    [1] Tanacross designated seat*

    *Community designated seats may be filled by locally held elections instead. For more information, please contact the regional coordinator.

  • Appointment of alternates; the Upper Tanana Fortymile AC can appoint 1 alternate for each of the following communities: Dot Lake, Healy Lake, Northway, Tanacross, Tetlin, and Tok, as well as 2 undesignated alternates. Alternate terms may not exceed one year.

  • ADFG Staff Updates

  • 2025-2026 Board of Fisheries Proposals - AK Peninsula (Area M) & Statewide

  • 2025-2026 Board of Game Proposals - Southcentral Region

  • 2026-2027 Board of Game cycle (includes Interior Region) - proposals due May 1st,  2026

  • Other fisheries, wildlife, and committee business as needed

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, and 4) cooperating and consulting with interested persons and organizations, including government agencies, and encourage youth and elder involvement in committee activities.

Fish and Game Advisory Committee members and staff are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, appropriate, courteous, and professional manner at all times.
