CONSTRUCTION INVITATION FOR QUOTES (IFQ’s)

Sealed quotes in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. SPC25263015/SFHWY00687; KTN Lewis Reef Road Tunnel Lighting & Fire Suppression System, described herein, will be received until 4:00 p.m. prevailing time January 12, 2026, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska or email: srdotpfcontracts@alaska.gov.  Quotes should reference SPC25263015 in the email subject line or on any envelopes. 

This Federally funded project will consist of repair and refurbishment of existing electrical lighting and fire suppression systems within the Lewis Reef Road tunnel corridor. This tunnel extends underneath the existing Ketchikan Airport runway and accesses the Gravina Island road system. Existing systems have significantly deteriorated and are not properly functioning.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $100,000 and $200,000. All work shall be completed by May 15, 2026.

Bid results may not be available until after 4:00 PM on the bid opening day.
