Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office proposes the following:
PROJECT NAME: ADL 422658
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
The proposed easement is located at the northern end of the former Tok Airport, near milepost 122.5 of the Tok Cutoff and directly southeast of its intersection with the Tetlin Trail.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Within Government Lot 1, Section 36, Township 18 North, Range 12 East, Copper River Meridian, approximately as shown on the attached map.
PROPOSED ACTIVITY:
The Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) proposes to grant a public access easement within Government Lot 1. The purpose of the proposed public access easement is to protect access along the Tetlin Trail and ensure access as the primary use in the immediate trail area over other competing uses, such as the Tanana Chiefs Conference/AP&T’s proposed utility easement (ADL 422657). The proposed easement would consist of approximately the northerly 150 feet of Government Lot 1, comprising 0.01 acres, more or less.
REQUESTED TERM: Indefinitely or until no longer needed.
