The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-07779 (Lot 3B, Block 500A), consisting of approximately 50,250 square feet, at Dillingham Airport for an additional 5 years. Applicant: Freshwater Adventures Inc. Annual rent: $10,904.25 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical – Operation and maintenance of a hangar to be used in support of lessee’s commercial air taxi business; loading and unloading of passengers and cargo; aircraft maintenance and repair; storage and dispensing of aviation fuel for lessee’s aircraft only; aircraft and vehicle parking; the operation and maintenance of a 20’ X 40’ food concession in the existing hangar.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., January 16, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
