The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received a Unit Plan of Operations Amendment application on November 24, 2025, from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC requesting to place 33,000 cubic yards of gravel. The proposed project will be adjudicated under AS 38.05 and 11 AAC 83.346. The Division provides public notice and an opportunity to comment.

Project Description:
Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (HAK) is requesting authorization to place 33,000 cubic yards (3.1 acres) of gravel at the Central Compressor Pad (CCP) in the PBU. The gravel will be placed around and under the CCP flare pipelines and gravel depth will range between five and seven feet. The purpose of this project is to level the ground under the flare pipelines to remedy subsistence issues and to create access to the flare lines for future maintenance. The project is scheduled to begin February 1, 2026, and be completed by May 2026.
