December 12, 2025 Subject to AS 38.05.035(a)(7) the Southcentral Regional Land Office is considering restricting the use and discharge of weapons within material site ADL 231498 and northern adjacent developed lands, due to safety concerns.

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: A material site and adjacent developed lands south of Jonesville Mine Road West and west of Jonesville Mine Road North consisting of approximately 6 acres, near Slipper Lake within the Jonesville Public Use Area. Please see the attached map.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 3 East, Seward Meridian.

The public is invited to comment on this proposed restriction. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 550 West 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501 on or before the date noted below.
