Private Non-Exclusive Easement

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: City of Kenai
PROJECT NAME: ADL 234689
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Milepost 7.5 Kenai Spur Highway, City of Kenai
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 35, Township 6 North, Range 11 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The applicant has requested approval of private non-exclusive easement over state-owned, DMLW managed lands approximately 786 feet in length and 50 feet in width. The purpose of the proposed easement is to allow monitoring, maintenance, and repairs to the existing water main located along the northern boundary of the parcel. The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.
REQUESTED TERM: 25 years
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: January 8th, 2026
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, comments must be submitted in writing and received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 West, 7th Avenue, Suite 900C, Anchorage AK 99501 on or before the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
