The Division of Public Assistance is seeking public comments on the proposed 2026-2028 Alaska State Plan for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program (TANF), hereafter called the TANF State Plan. The TANF State Plan is a continuation of the existing plan. Renewal of the TANF State Plan is needed so Alaska can continue to receive the federal TANF block grant. 

Attachments include:

1. the proposed 2026-2028 TANF State Plan and

2.the matrix of substantive changes.

Comments may be submitted via mail, fax, or e-mail, and must be received no later than December 29, 2025.
