Subject to AS 38.95.080, the Northern Regional Office has received an application for the following:

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: 
Milepost 210 Richardson Highway.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: 
Township 18 South, Range 11 East, Section 32, Fairbanks Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Northern Regional Land Office (NRO), has received a Land Use Permit (LUP) application from DOT&PF.  The request is to address unstable rock slopes and remove large loose blocks of rock from a rock formation located near milepost 210 of the Richardson Highway.

REQUESTED TERM: 5 Years 

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: November 18, 2025

The public is invited to comment on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK  99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
