The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to permit Parcel X, consisting of approximately 366,748.26 square feet (ADA-72870) at Barrow Airport for five (5) years. Applicant: Brice, Inc. Annual rent: $137,530.60 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: non-aeronautical – Rock storage of four (4) different products consisting of 2–4-ton rock to small 3” aggregate, which may include fencing around stockpiles; Construction equipment storage consisting of rock trucks, loaders, excavators, pick-ups, side by sides and a survey boat (used to complete hydrographic survey); Storage of flats of tires and excavator boom. All construction equipment, construction supplies and rocks are in support of the Barrow Coastal Erosion Reduction Project. Brice, Inc. was awarded the Barrow Coastal Erosion Reduction Project contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District.

Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., November 17, 2025, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the permit.
