Geographic Location: Within material site ADL 107638 located in South Thorne Bay, near Setter Lake, Prince of Wales Island, AK.

GPS Coordinate: 55.6625 N, 132.5294 W

Legal Description: Section 33, Township 71S, Range 84 East, Copper River Meridian

       Section 4, Township 72S, Range 84 East, Copper River Meridian

Quantity Requested: 5,000 cubic yards

Deadline for Comments: October 24, 2025

DMLW is seeking information related to the extraction of material from this site that may assist in the development of specific operating/reclamation requirements for the site or identifying any multiple land use issues that may need to be addressed prior to issuance of this or future contracts.

Pursuant to AS 38.05.565, public notice of future contracts may not be conducted.

To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southeast Regional Land Office, 400 Willoughby Avenue/PO Box 111020, Juneau, AK 99811-1020 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
