RFP #25261006, Buckland Airport Improvements Construction Administration

The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Construction Section is soliciting professional engineering services for construction administration support as required to ensure proper inspection, contract compliance, and documentation of the Buckland Airport Improvement Project. The level of construction administration documentation is project-dependent and will follow the requirements of the Alaska Construction Manual, including but not limited to: day-to-day inspection, project record-keeping, quality assurance, and performing onsite project engineering duties.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 2025 through December 2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of greater than a $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available OCTOBER 6, 2025, and may be downloaded from our web site at:  https://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-rfp-cal.cfm  Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.  Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment).  There is no charge for the RFP package.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than OCTOBER 28, 2025, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The Northern Region Contracts Section will accept electronic (Zendto) submission of proposals.

  *Received files will be downloaded but not opened until after the submittal deadline passes.

The proposals may still be dropped off at our office.  A locked Drop Box is located at the outside entry of the Tech Services Building #3 (Contracts Building Main Parking Lot West Side Entrance).  Call or Text (907) 799-5632 when you place documents in the Drop Box and we will retrieve and timestamp your documents. 

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTY number 711 or 1-800-770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
