NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the City of Mountain Village, P.O. Box 32085, Mountain Village, Alaska 99632 applied for a permit to appropriate water on April 28, 2017 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:
The withdrawal of up to 97,560 gallons per day from January 1st through December 31st each year from two drilled wells located within Sections 14 and 15, Township 23 North, Range 79 West, Seward Meridian, in the Bethel Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska.
The proposed purpose of use is a public water supply for the City of Mountain Village.
The proposed place of use is the City of Mountain Village, said property being located within Sections 10, 11, 14 and 15, Township 23 North, Range 79 West, Seward Meridian, in the Bethel Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to tina.mayer@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. within 15 days of publication or service of notice. Objection must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
