The Southern Norton Sound Fish and Game will hold a public meeting and membership elections on Tuesday October 7th at 11am. The meeting will be held via web/teleconference.

Agenda items include the following:

Elections: 2 Koyuk seats, 1 Unalakleet seat, 1 Shaltoolik seat, 1 St. Michael seat, 1 Undesignated seat, and 1 Alternate seat

Elections: Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary 

Working on Fisheries Proposals for the upcoming Board Cycle

Guess Speak for the Sonar Project on the Unalakleet River

Discussion of other fish and wildlife topics if needed.

Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
