Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in partnership with Denali Borough, proposes to design separated paths at the following proposed locations in the Denali Borough: Parks Highway Antler Ridge Parking Lot to Suntrana Avenue, Parks Highway Suntrana Avenue to Stampede Road, and Parks Highway Carlo Creek to Crabbies Crossing.. Work activities include drainage improvements (culverts and ditch grading and shaping), roadside hardware (signs and guardrail), potential utility relocation, and pedestrian intersection crossing improvements.
Healy Area and School Pedestrian Path

DOT&PF proposes to design shared-use pedestrian paths at the following locations within the community of Healy: School Road between Healy Spur Road and Tri-Valley School, Suntrana Avenue from Tri-Valley School to the Parks Highway, and Coal Street between Healy Spur Road and the Post Office. Work activities include drainage improvements (culverts and ditch grading and shaping), roadside hardware (sign upgrades), vegetation clearing, potential utility relocations, and pedestrian intersection crossing improvements.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Alaska DOT&PF pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated April 13, 2023, and executed by FHWA and DOT&PF.
