DEC has prepared an APDES preliminary draft general permit for Wastewater Discharges from AKR100000 Storm Water Construction General Permit activities. The Preliminary Draft General permit and associated documents are available to the applicant for a 10-day review. Following the close of the 10-day review period, DEC will prepare a draft permit and fact sheet for a formal 30-day public review period. Public comments will be accepted during the formal 30-day public review period. Discharge Project and Location: The ADEC proposes to reissue an Alaska Construction General Permit (the permit) for discharges from large and small construction activities. The permit authorizes and sets conditions on the discharge of pollutants from construction projects to waters of the United States and waters of the State. In order to ensure protection of water quality and human health, the permit describes control measures that must be used to control the types and amounts of pollutants that can be discharged from construction activities.

Administrative Record: The APDES preliminary draft permit, fact sheet, and associated documents are available for public review at the DEC offices located in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Soldotna, and Wasilla.
