NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

The Board of Regents is scheduled to hold the following meetings:

Board officers and committee chairs will hold a special meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, August 5 at 4 p.m. to review the topics suggested for the September 3-5, 2025 meeting of the board.  No action will be taken at this meeting.

The Board of Regents will hear public testimony via statewide audio conference on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information regarding public testimony visit: http://www.alaska.edu/bor/public-testimony/

Board committee meetings will begin on Wednesday, September 3 at 2 p.m. in the University of Alaska Southeast Recreation Center in Juneau. Meeting times listed below are approximate; committee meetings will begin after the previous committee meeting concludes.

Wednesday, September 3:

• Ad Hoc Committee on Recruitment, Retention & Graduation – 2-4 p.m.
• Academic & Student Affairs Committee – 4-5 p.m.

   

  Thursday, September 4:

• Academic & Student Affairs Committee (continued) – 8-9 a.m.
• Facilities & Land Management Committee – 9-11 a.m.
• Audit & Finance Committee – 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (includes lunch break)

The Board of Regents will hold a regular meeting of the full board beginning Thursday, September 4 at approximately 2 p.m. or immediately after the Audit and Finance Committee adjourns, also in the University of Alaska Southeast Recreation Center in Juneau. The full board will continue on Friday, September 5 at 8 a.m. No public testimony will be taken.

Agendas will be added to the Board of Regents’ web page at: www.alaska.edu/bor/ approximately 10 days before the meeting. With the exception of executive sessions, committee meetings and full board meetings are open to the public and will be live streamed at www.alaska.edu/bor/live..
