PUBLIC NOTICE - PROPOSAL TO LEASE STATE LAND
AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
In accordance with 17 AAC 42.400(a) – The following should be published: July 22, 2025 through August 21, 2025 (30-days) in the Alaska Online Public Notice System.
NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO LEASE STATE LAND: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (Airport) proposes to execute Land Lease ADA-90987, as follows: LESSEE: Montibus Enterprises LLC PREMISES: Block 104, Lot 5, consisting of approximately 60,000 square feet. LEASE TERM: Fifty (50) years, beginning September 1, 2025 and ending August 31, 2075. CURRENT LEASE RENTAL RATE: The annual rent is $7,200.00 ($0.12 per square foot x 60,000 square feet). AUTHORIZED USES: Construction and operation of a hangar for aircraft storage and maintenance/repair, office, parking, tie-downs and snow storage. PROPOSED TERM JUSTIFICATION: Fifty (50) year term based on minimum investment in permanent improvements of $375,000.
