NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Alaskan Park Properties, 1301 W. Parks Highway Suite 5, Wasilla, Alaska 99755 applied for a permit to appropriate water on January 19, 2016 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:
The withdrawal of up to 38,300 gallons per day from April 1st through September 30th each year from a drilled well located within Lot 5, SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 30, Township 26 North, Range 4 West, Seward Meridian, in the Talkeetna Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.
The proposed purpose of use is a public water supply for the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
The proposed place of use is the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. Said property being located within Lot 5, SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 30 and Lot 1, NE1/4 NW1/4 and the E1/2 SE1/4 NW1/4 and the NE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 31, Township 26 North, Range 4 West, Seward Meridian, in the Talkeetna Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to tina.mayer@alaska.gov by 5:00 p.m. 15 days after receipt or publication. Objection must include the objector’s name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
